How to Play Paper Territory Online
A paper.io-style territory battle for two: leave your land to draw a trail, loop back to claim everything inside, and cut your rival’s trail to knock them out.

Controls
- Keyboard: arrow keys or WASD to turn
- Phone / tablet: swipe in a direction, or use the on-screen pad
- Local vs on one keyboard: P1 WASD, P2 arrow keys

Step by step
- 01
Go out
You always keep moving. Leaving your land draws a trail behind you.
- 02
Close the loop
Steer back onto your land: the trail and everything it encloses becomes yours, even your rival’s land.
- 03
Cut and survive
Crossing your rival’s trail knocks them out. Hitting the wall or your own trail knocks you out.
- 04
Win
Last player in wins; otherwise 60% of the board, or the most land after two minutes.

Pro tips
- Make short loops and come home often.
- Turn back when the rival is closer to your trail than you are to your land.
- Cut long rival trails: they are easy targets.
