How to Play Block Drop Duel Online
A Tetris-style falling-block battle for two players. Both wells get the same pieces in the same order; clear lines to push garbage rows into your rival's well and be the last stack standing.
01 // CONTROLS
Controls
- Keyboard: ← / → move, ↑ or X rotate, Z rotate back, ↓ soft drop, Space hard drop, C or Shift hold
- Phone / tablet: swipe sideways to move, tap to rotate, flick down to hard drop, swipe up to hold — or use the on-screen buttons

02 // STEPS
Step by step
- 01
Stack
Pieces fall one at a time. Move and rotate them so they fit; the ghost outline shows where the piece will land.
- 02
Clear lines
A full row disappears. Clear 2 lines to send 1 garbage row, 3 lines for 2 and 4 lines for 4. Back-to-back fours and clear streaks add more.
- 03
Cancel garbage
Incoming garbage shows as a red bar beside your well. Clearing lines before your next piece locks cancels it; otherwise it rises from the bottom with one gap.
- 04
Survive
Pieces speed up over time. The first player whose stack reaches the top loses.

Pro tips
- Keep the stack low and flat, and leave one side column open for the I piece.
- Hold an I piece for a four-line clear, or hold an awkward S or Z until it fits.
- Hard drop as soon as a piece is lined up: speed is attack.
